The Center for Transfer and Adult Students is here to support all transfer and adult students. We have more than 100 years of combined experience working in a university setting. We help you navigate your university experience. Whether you are a full-time or part-time student, fully online, or taking classes on the IUPUI campus, our staff’s mission is to support transfer and adult students with whatever you need. We aim to be your first point of contact for questions, and we'll use our experience and campus relationships to assist and empower you.

Danielle Watkins
Danielle majors in Policy Studies for the Environment and minors in Sustainable Management and Policy. She is in her third year at IUPUI and will be graduating early with an Accelerated Masters’ Degree in Environmental Management and Policy. She plans to pursue Law school to become an Environmental Lawyer. Outside of school and work she likes to be outdoors and spend time with her French bulldog, Nova and her family.
Jesseca Mirando
Jesseca is in her second semester of nursing school at the IU School of Nursing and plans to become a NICU nurse when she graduates. She has worked for CTAS for two years. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, loves Starbucks and enjoys volunteering in her free time.
Kyle Blake
Kyle is a psychology major and first generation college student. Kyle plans to get his master in higher education and work with students in teaching or advising. He enjoys helping students, especially those who are new to college due to his own experience as the first person in his family to go to college.
Valerie Madrigal
Valerie is the Graduate Student Success Coordinator with CTAS. She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree from IUPUI in History and a certificate in Leadership and is currently attending IU for her master’s in Adult Education. She hopes to work in the realm of higher education. She is interested in history, literature, education, mentoring, and videography. In her free time she likes to read, hike, play video games, and spend time with friends and family.
